What is the Ridepanda Direct Ship Program?

Ridepanda's Direct Ship Program allows customers to receive their electric vehicles directly at their office or doorstep. The program includes a monthly subscription that covers the scooter or bike, on-demand repairs, regular maintenance, and insurance against theft and accidents.

What brands do you currently offer?

We currently offer scooters from two brands: VMAX and Okai. Ridepanda also offers Brompton and Priority bike options.

How do I set up my scooter?

Okai scooters require minimal setup before you are road-ready. Check out a Quick Start Video for a walkthrough of the setup steps. You can also find additional product information at okai.co.

VMAX scooters come with a setup manual that you can follow to get your scooter road-ready. If you'd like additional information on setting up and customizing your scooter, you can find additional information on the VMAX blog.

How do I set up my Bike?

For more detailed assistance tailored to your Brompton electric or pedal bike, you can access specialized support resources by visiting the Brompton Support page. This resource will provide you with comprehensive information and guidance specific to your Brompton bike model, ensuring that you have all the necessary support for your riding experience.

Subscription Details

How long is the subscription commitment?

The subscription is month-to-month. There is a one-month restock fee if you’d like to end your subscription. After 12 months, the restock fee is waived. If you leave your employer, move to another office, or are injured, the restocking fee is also waived.

What’s included with the Ridepanda monthly subscription? Your subscription includes:

  • The scooter or bike

  • On-demand repair and regular maintenance through PandaCare

  • Theft and accident insurance

Repair and Maintenance

Keep the box the vehicle came in for warranty, repair, and returns.

If you need warranty or repair work in the future, you will use the original box to quickly ship your scooter or bike to Ridepanda for repair. When ending your subscription and returning your scooter or bike, you will use the original box to return ship your vehicle to Ridepanda. To request a repair or return, reach out to support at support@ridepanda.com.

PandaCare includes:

Free regular maintenance, adjustments, and repairs due to normal wear and tear 4x per year. If you require service, please email support@ridepanda.com. PandaCare will only cover the cost of labor for maintenance and repair work, not for replacement components beyond reasonable wear and tear.

What if my vehicle gets stolen or is damaged in an accident?

Ridepanda includes insurance on your vehicle at no extra charge. If you damage your vehicle accidentally, contact Ridepanda as soon as possible with the following information:

  • Where and when the accident happened.

  • How the accident happened.

  • Documentation of damage to the vehicle, such as pictures and video.

You are liable for damage caused by misuse or negligence of your vehicle. Ridepanda will only repalce vehicles in the event a vehicle is damaged beyond repair or deemed totaled.

What happens if my vehicle gets stolen?

If your vehicle is stolen, contact Ridepanda at support@ridepanda.com within 48 hours of theft. Be sure to include the following information:

  • A screenshot or copy of a police report prior to submitting online to local law enforcement services. Please be advised the case numbers or incident report cards are insufficient for our claims filing purposes. In the event that providing a screenshot or copy of the report is not possible, please include the address of where the theft took place.

  • Any photos or videos of the area the bike was stolen from, including broken locks if they are present.

A Ridepanda team member will assist you in documenting the theft to give you the best chance of recovering your vehicle. A $500 stolen vehicle deductible is included in your subscription, which will be charged to your card on file and is in place to protect our riders from being liable for the full cost of the stolen vehicle. Be aware that failure to follow the steps above could disqualify you from your theft insurance.

Do I need a special license or permit?

No license or special permit is needed to ride Ridepanda e-bikes, e-scooters, and pedal bikes in the US.


How Do I Cancel My subscription?

When ending your subscription and sending back your scooter or bike, you will use the original packaging to ship your vehicle back to Ridepanda. If you need to initiate a return, please contact our support team at support@ridepanda.com for assistance.
