Overview

Need help packing your VMAX scooter? This step-by-step guide will show you exactly how to pack and label it in the original box for a safe and easy return.

How to Disassemble and Pack Your VMAX

Tools Needed: 3mm allen, packing tape

  1. With your 3mm allen tool, un-screw the 4 bolts located on the stem of your handle bar as shown in the picture.

  1. Once the bolts have been fully removed, gently wiggle your handlebars off by carefully pushing them upward. There’s no need to disconnect the wires. Next, start adding the packing material to your scooter as shown in the picture below.

  1. Position the cardboard packaging as demonstrated in the picture.

  1. Place the packing material on the scooter deck. Next, carefully position the scooter in the bag. If available, place styrofoam around the steerer tube and handlebar grips for added protection.

  1. Fold the scooter head down onto the packing material. Position the handlebars inside, making sure the light is facing upward.

  1. Carefully place the scooter in the box, ensuring the kickstand is collapsed beforehand. Seal the box securely with clear packing tape.

How to Label Your Package

1. Remove all old labels and markings from the outside of your box or case.

  • It includes shipping labels, barcodes, HAZMAT and warning stickers, etc.

2. Affix new shipping label (with barcode) AND shipping info (without barcode) separately to the outside of your box or case.

  • If using a cardboard box, attach them via tape or two label pouches. If using a hard or soft case, attach them using two luggage tags.

3. Print a second copy of your shipping label and shipping info, and place it inside your box or case.

  • If your labels become unreadable our carrier may open your case to find your second copy.
