How Your Employer Benefit Works
Overview
Ridepanda subscriptions are offered through your employer's benefits program. Every employer sets up their benefit differently, so how much you pay and how you're paid back depends on your company. This article explains the most common benefit types and what to expect with each.
Please Note: Ridepanda doesn't set your benefit amount, eligibility, or rollover rules. For questions about your specific benefit, check with your company's benefits team.
Types of Employer Benefits
Discount at Checkout
Your employer's contribution is applied automatically, so you only pay the remaining amount.
You'll see the contribution listed as its own line item at checkout.
Depending on your employer, this may be a flat monthly amount, a percentage off, or a one-time credit.
Commuter Benefit Card
Your employer loads commuter funds onto a benefit card.
You pay with that card at checkout, so your price will look like the full list price.
If you have an Edenred card, see How to Load your Edenred Card.
Monthly Reimbursement
You pay Ridepanda directly, then submit your receipt to your employer for reimbursement.
Reimbursements are submitted through your employer's system, not through Ridepanda.
Some employers cap reimbursements at your monthly subscription cost.
Per-Trip Commute Rewards
You earn a set amount for each day you commute to work.
Trips are logged through your employer's commute program.
The more you ride to work, the more of your subscription is covered.
Fully Covered
Your employer pays for your entire subscription.
These programs often have a limited number of spots.
No Employer Subsidy
Your employer partners with Ridepanda but doesn't contribute to the cost.
You may still get a Ridepanda discount, and you can often use pre-tax commuter funds or your HSA or FSA. See Paying with your HSA or FSA.
What Affects Your Eligibility
Your employer decides who qualifies for their benefit. Common factors include:
Your office location. Some benefits only apply to certain offices or cities.
Your employment type. Some benefits are for full-time employees only.
Your company's eligibility list. Some employers only cover employees on an approved list.
The vehicle type. Some employers only cover certain vehicles, like e-bikes or pedal bikes.

FAQs
How do I know which benefit type I have?
Your company's benefits team can tell you and we can provide this information for you as well. If your benefit is a discount, you'll also see it applied at checkout.
Does my benefit cover fees, like delivery or restocking fees?
Most benefits apply to your monthly subscription. Whether they cover other charges depends on your employer.
Does my unused benefit roll over?
That depends on your employer's policy, so your benefits team is the best place to ask.
What happens to my benefit if I leave my company?
Your employer benefit stops when you leave your company, and your subscription will need to be canceled. You'll need to return your vehicle along with any items that came with it. See Canceling a Subscription for Pandahub riders or Direct Ship - Canceling a Subscription for Direct Ship riders.
You may be eligible to buy your vehicle instead depending on your company's program and the vehicle you have. Email us at support@ridepanda.com for more information.
Can I combine my benefit with my HSA or FSA?
Some employers allow it. Check with your benefits team to confirm or reach out to our support team so we can assist.
