Baby Seat Accessories

Provide a comfortable and secure ride for your child with specially designed infant seats that emphasize safety and convenience. Use this guide if you're seeking recommendations for adding a seat option for younger riders to your bike.

Important to note: The following recommendations are for you to acquire on your own and have installed by a professional.

• The Specialized Vado and Como comes with a MIK HD rack designed to handle extra weight up to 60 lbs. A compatible option would be the Thule Yepp 2 Maxi MIK HD Rack-Mount Child Bike Seat. You can conveniently order the Thule Yepp 2 Maxi MIK HD Rack-Mount Child Bike Seat at your local REI shop.

• Child seats can mount to the standard rear rack included on the Globe Haul ST and LT. While Specialized hasn’t tested all seats for compatibility, three models that should be compatible are Thule Yepp Nexxt, Burly Dash, and Polisport Bubbly.

  • *LT rear racks have been updated to 176 lbs (80kg) max weight capacity

  • *ST rear racks have been updated to 132 lbs (60kg) max weight capacity

• For the Momentum PakYak E+, we recommend you get the Thule Yepp Maxi Easyfit. It be pre ordered at any REI or Sports Basement locations.

• The Momentum website also offers a great PakYak passenger accessories bundle.

For all other models with a non-MIK HD rack, we recommend the following toddler bike seats (for children aged 1 to 6 years; up to 48 lbs):

• Thule Yepp Maxi Rack-Mount Child Bike Seat

  • You can also opt to purchase the Thule Yepp Maxi Easyfit Adapter if your rack isn't compatible with The Yepp Maxi.

• Yepp Maxi Nexxt

For a more budget-friendly choice, you can consider:

• Burley Dash - priced at $69 and produced by Burley which is a top maker of Bike Trailers for both kids & pets.

• Bellelli Bicycle Baby Carrier - priced at less than $100.

Can Ridepanda install the baby seat accessory for me?

• We do not install accessories that are not included with your vehicle or purchased from our hubs. However, if you'd like to further customize your vehicle, you can seek parts and labor from third-party providers. We recommend visiting local bike shops to acquire parts and arrange for installation.

Does Ridepanda sell baby seat accessories?

• Currently, we do not sell baby seat accessories, but you can purchase them independently.

Will Ridepanda pay for baby seat accessories?

• All customers are responsible for purchasing accessories not pre-installed on their vehicle. We do not reimburse for the cost of accessories; however, we do cover installation labor performed at a local bike shop, as well as labor for accessories purchased at our hub through your PandaCare plan. Your PandaCare plan allows for up to 4 visits per year to local shops, with $100 coverage per visit (up to $300 annually). Simply forward the receipt to support@ridepanda.com, and we'll credit your account.
